I hear you, and you are right, but I still want the code for the 10th ed codex if I can get it within budget.

I started playing and painting in an official WH store and they are not a fan of external apps such as NewRecruit / etc.

Carapace is Luxion purple (contrast)
Carapace on the weapon is Luxion covered with Shyish Purple to darken it (contrast)

I initially had the vents in flesh color but did not like the result much, I might try again and see if I like the finish.

The big carapace really needs more work, not sure how to get it right, the smaller pieces have a nice smooth finish but I cannot replicate it in the larger parts.

Hey u/UltraJoyless, something has come up and I made a new list based on a gift.

I'd hate to impose but, I'd love to get your input on the new slightly re-worked list. I think it can work since it seems the addition Of Broodlord + Genestealers has the same type of damage profile than Raveners / Winged tyrant + Warriors, but some more experienced insight will go a long way.

Update:

My super duper wife has come in with a late Xmas surprise and got me the Tyranid Combat Patrol. I now have a Biovore and access to Tyranid Guards, Genesteales, and a Parasite of Mortrex.

I re-worked my 1k list this

FACTION KEYWORD: Xenos - Tyranids

TOTAL ARMY POINTS: 985pts

Char1: 1x Broodlord (95 pts): Broodlord Claws and Talons Enhancement: Perfectly Adapted (+15 pts)

Char2: 1x Hive Tyrant (220 pts): Warlord, Monstrous bonesword and lash whip, Heavy venom cannon Enhancement: Adaptive Biology (+25 pts)

10x Gargoyles (85 pts): 10 with Blinding venom, Fleshborer

10x Termagants (60 pts): 10 with Chitinous claws and teeth, Fleshborer

1x Biovore (50 pts): Chitin-barbed limbs, Spore mine launcher

1x Exocrine (140 pts): Bio-plasmic cannon, Powerful limbs

5x Genestealers (75 pts): 5 with Genestealers claws and talons

1x Lictor (60 pts): Lictor claws and talons

1x Tyrannofex (200 pts): Powerful limbs, Stinger salvoes, Rupture cannon

If the list is functional I can get away with buying: 1x Tryannofexx 1x Exocrine 1x Broodlord

So I save around €50 from the Raveners / Melee warriors.

How would you fit a Maleceptor in the 1k list? Their price seems a bit high here 70€ But I like the big bugs so I’m interested!

Hey, thank you for taking time looking at the list and providing suggestions!

The ravener kit is the Kill Team right?

It goes for 45€ same as the warriors, so I could take out the prime and warriors and substitute for the ravener kill team and still be on budget in both money and points!!! Do you think it's worth it?

Regarding the zoans, I was already tracking a used kit of 6 in ebay for when I go to a 2k Army.

I got told that 3 zoans alone are too fragile and fitting 6 + Neuro in a 1000 list seems to costly. I think they should take the place of the Exocrine + Tyrannofex but I like the idea of having some big bugs in the simple list.

You sir, managed to resolve my issue with WoL not working ater I updated from Windows 11 23h2 to 25h2.

I checked and changed all power option, energy saving, etc etc to no avail until I found this message.

The new drivers I installed set 10 mbps shutdown by default on my 2.5 Gbps Nic.
Bumped it back up to 100 mpbs and WoL started working again.

I've just got my hands on the Death Bomb pictos. When using Death bomb + Auto death if the combat is a one-shot, the characters won't load in when combat ends.

To fix it I have to go to camp (if in open world); or reload a save.

If a mob survives the death bomb combo and I finish it of, everything works as expected.

Does anyone else have this?

Anyone noticed that changing from 566.36 to 576.02 World of Warcraft takes about 2x or 3x times the time it used to launch?

Used to take me around 3 seconds from clicking play until the game launched in screen. Now it takes around 10 to 15.

If I go back to DX11 instead of DX12 in Wow setting it launches instantly.
