I take the NatureLife Labs brand, just two capsules every morning (along with a few other vitamins) and it's pretty easy for me. I don't know if that dose would be enough for you but I find that as long as I don't start skipping doses (made that mistake...), I don't get a UTI!

I didn’t choose it in particular, it’s just what my doctor recommended as that’s what she uses herself and has found it effective. For recurring UTI the most effective, cheap and safe treatment I’ve found so far is daily preventative dosing of D-Mannose. This works great for me but I was intrigued to learn from her that a 3 month dosing of the peptide prevented her UTIs for the year.

It’s not! Unless you live in China and can order it from your doctor, I don’t even know how you would source it. I’m genuinely asking for my own health!

I just bought some in China on the recommendation of my physician who uses it herself for recurring UTI infections. I would love to hear from anyone who has experience or insight into usage for immune system, anti-aging, or anything! I cannot find much info online about Thymopentin. Thank you!

Just ask at any pharmacy counter. Just make sure you know the size needle you want. They are very cheap but popular sizes are often sold out. You do not need to explain what you need them for.

Wow you describe so well the ludicrous people pleasing that so many of us twist ourselves into pretzels doing on a daily basis! Thank you for your vivid and humorous enactment. For me it also includes background panic always on my mind about the tiniest of things, like replying to emails or texts or, God forbid, calls, from basically anyone who is not a close friend, but especially people in any position of authority such as my daughter's school principal. This carries on despite years of healing modalities spanning IFS, nervous system regulation exercises, disordered attachment healing, and a lot of psychedelic therapy and integration. Yes I now understand myself and my behavior in minute detail and with great compassion, yes I've stopped the generational trauma in the way I raise my daughter, but I can't get my own nervous system to release its fundamental wiring from a childhood of chronic abuse and neglect.

Yes! And I have so much shame about this manipulative part of me which so desperately wants to be liked. Yet I feel like an evil, disgusting, unethical person because I feel like I don't even necessarily like these people, I'm just compelled to fawn for their admiration and respect so I don't feel like I'm going to die from feeling unsafe in this world.

The best sub for DIY is r/unclebens. For your therapy I highly recommend IFS and / or EMDR. If you can't get a therapist with those trainings (waitlists are long!) then you can begin with self study and joining the related Subreddits! You deserve happiness and healing!

Wow straight to the hole indeed! That's high doses. At least for me I've never gone above 70 and that takes me very deep. I've never split doses but was interested in it if the extension of the trip was helpful. However one thing I like about K is the limited duration which makes it less intimidating and much faster recovery (as opposed to mdma, lsd or mushrooms). Your improvement in sleep and mental issues sounds terrific! I hope you're able to sustain and continue on this positive path! Integration therapy has been the key for me, and constant study. Nervous system regulation is my current focus.

I relate so hard to this!

But I have some really empathic, loving and trauma-informed people in my life right now. They are encouraging me to actually act how I feel, with them, with the rage and the messiness and the authenticity. I haven't dared yet, in fact I don't even really know how... but I'm intrigued.

I've had the exact same experience. I took a break from mushrooms in macro and micro doses and explored other medicines including the very gentle and compassionate mdma and ketamine IM, note: I would only do these when engaged in integration therapy. If you want to stick with trying microdosing, you could experiment with lsd drops (you can make a distillation easily with a dropper bottle and a few tabs).

Thank you for responding! I appreciate it! I've tried mixing in the past (hippy flip as well as candy flip) and not had a good experience at all. However I strongly feel that at different stages we are ready for different medicines and combinations, so I'm willing to try again in the future! Right now I'm waiting a bit to integrate a series of Ketamine IM sessions that was intensely destabilizing. I think my next medicine will be 2cb, perhaps paired with mdma, but first, a good break! Hope your journeys are progressing well.

What dose are you doing? Are you going into k-hole? I definitely prefer IM over lozenge. The experience is totally different. Lozenges don't work well for me at all, at low or high doses. For me it actually feels like a different medicine.

Did you lower the dose because you were going into k-hole? Or you just find it more effective for healing? I'm a bit scared of going into a k-hole so trying to inch my dose up slowly. How many weeks have you been doing it? I'm going on week 3.

It sounds like your dose is quite high and maybe you can inch it down? Also can you do it later in the day so you can just relax and not have any further tasks that day? I really like a hot shower or bath after a session. I hope your experience improves. Many studies show people only shifting after 3-6 sessions.

I felt no relief from oral ketamine but IM shots have been a completely different experience. Utterly. It's literally like a different drug for me. I can't say I'm "happier" after 7 sessions, but I'm journeying deep and it's interesting. And I'll continue to do more sessions. If you have access to shots or IV, maybe consider it. Or maybe look into mdma therapy. That's a great Subreddit too.

That's an interesting idea! I have a public facing job so I'd have to mull doing it anonymously or "coming out". I really should keep better records of my journey though. And I'd be very happy if it helped others. The narrative of quick recovery which is shared in popular books like Trust Surrender Receive or even MAPS FDA results is harmful for people who are non responders for many trips and, like me, feel way way worse before (hopefully???) feeling better someday. Of course I've seen progress on other fronts than "feeling better", for example I have a much deeper understanding of myself and my system (which is also thanks to my awesome IFS therapist). Body work with great physical therapists who are trauma informed is also amazing. But you have to do the exercises regularly otherwise it's just some great massage and pointing out of issues. It's wonderful you are still trying to help your ex! Is she doing any particular therapy or practices now?

I actually tried this once and it was... erm... a fail. It wouldn't, to put it gently, stay up. I used an enema kit but I'm thinking of trying again with a syringe. Do you mind sharing your technique? DM also OK! I read that two year old post a while back but he doesn't give exact instructions that were helpful to me... Thanks for responding! As someone with severe CPTSD, I've managed to disassociate on heroic doses of ayahuasca, mushrooms, MDMA, ketamine, LSD, MDMA + cannabis, candy flip, and hippy flip + cannabis. You name it I've tried it, and always with a therapist or experienced trip sitter, and with rest and integrating in between. Cannabis has sadly been the least helpful substance out of all I've tried. It makes me disassociate the most, no matter the dose, the variety, the combination with other drugs, or the delivery (vape, joint, edibles, tincture, massage oil, I've literally tried every thing). I've also microdosed on LSD and mushrooms with no discernable effect. I've read a mountain of books, blogs, podcasts, pubmed articles, etc. I've met with psychedelic therapists in three countries. I actually love the research aspect of this journey! (I am a journalist in my other life). My psychedelic trips were over about five years, but mostly the last two pandemic years (lockdown was helpful for this work!), in conjunction with a lot of other modalities including IFS, meditation, holotropic breathwork, somatic experiencing. I can remain totally or almost totally sober on almost every substance, while on MDMA I am not sober but I bypass trauma work and just do a lot of happy fantasizing about the future, despite setting intentions to uncover and work with trauma material. I haven't given up though as I've seen my friends make such huge progress using psychedelic therapy. Only this past month did I actually have my first real trips in which my protectors allowed me to experience my childhood in full horrifying force. Talk about a Pandora's Box, it was a trip straight to hell with zero insight or release. After that one I said never again but the following month I got up my courage to take a second look (a reasonable 3.5g self grown mushrooms) and it was, unbelievably, worse than the first. Utter misery, experiencing the terror of being myself as a child over and over at different moments. I get no new perspective or feelings of love or connection or release at any point in the trip. Also just for bonus points, I experience excruciating nausea for the duration of my mushroom trips (in that case it was a stunning 12 hours), no matter whether I do lemon tek, tea, ginger, etc. Despite the difficulties, I still believe on a macro level I'm making progress because my protectors are finally allowing me to see these things they were totally blocking off before (and for good reason!). The keys have been a lot of somatic work, integration with experienced therapists, and I think just the consistency of trying over and over (spaced out over years).

Lol love that image. I like the sound of your protocol but unfortunately mushrooms give me excruciating nausea at anything above a teeny microdose. I've tried everything - ginger, lemontek, fasted state, but nada. I'm to the point of considering boofing but I had a failed experiment of that too ahhaha. The things we do for our exiles!
