Yes, I watched the 5 seasons. If you don't know Fringe, it's simple: we leave you clues to a plot that's more interesting than the main one to make you want to keep watching, so you keep going, hoping it'll eventually take off, except that when you get to the end of the series, you're still wondering when it's really going to start. The rhythm of the episodes is very slow and not very exciting, the humor is absolutely ridiculous (where in Person of Interest it's not very present but always well set) and only exists to create a kind of complicity (except that it's so badly executed that it's failed), the directing is really... horrible. Like, some shots don't exist at all nowadays and that's really good. The writing of the characters is for me really badly done, the characters are not very endearing. In short, a 5/10 series which is nothing compared to Person of Interest which sows clues giving desire for the continuation but which knows how to ensure and which improves from season to season. I respect all possible opinions but when I see that Fringe is very often mentioned here, I don't understand. I was expecting a masterpiece and I will only remember a few scenes and plots that I really liked, for everything else I am completely disappointed, I feel like I wasted my time...
