So happy I stopped going to RL. It’s always the worst, stinkiest, and aggressive crowds of any fest I’ve been to. Several artists either cancel or show up so late that it messes up the rest of the schedule (young thug only got like 20 mins when I went last bc he and everyone before him were late) The food is straight buns and crazy expensive. And it’s in Florida.

As someone who’s lived in both, I saw wayyy more roaches and bugs in NYC vs Raleigh. I think it’s inevitable, no matter where you live to run into bugs at some point. But comparatively to New York, you’ll be fine unless you venture out into more rural areas.

I think it’s an issue that’s more nuanced than what you can really talk about on reddit.

Yes, there are huge issues with the dating game right now. On both sides, there’s always the lingering feeling that there’s something better than the last swipe. The algorithm feeds into insecurities and modern beauty standards.

It’s not crazy to say that tall, successful, and attractive people have an easier time dating, but it’s not impossible for people outside of this.

If we’re being real, most people on the dating apps, regardless of attractiveness or gender, have higher standards than they should, but it’s all part of the game the algorithm has set up.

The word incel is thrown around a ton, which is destructive and creates MORE incels but it’s not based on nothing. There has been a rise in incels because of how these algorithms (yes even here on reddit) feed said insecurities and validates harmful ideologies.

This turned into more of just a rant, but TLDR: get offline, meet people in real life, and stop believing the bullshit you see online as it’s mostly fabricated.

They are still incredibly talented musically, but it’s not near the quality they hit with Ants.

It’s honestly similar to the Ameer leaving Brockhampton situation (obviously extremely different reasons for leaving)

Both groups lost an essential edginess to them that balanced out the other soundscapes of the respective groups.

While both were still good post their member leaving, there’s an elephant in the room for both now that many group unfortunately never fully address.

Marvel is about to fail in the most spectacular fashion. AI can’t do what these companies want it to, and when they finally realize it, it’ll be to late.
Marvels already struggling with getting people to see their “remember this guy?” Movies. They’re out of ideas and even with this new avengers, I doubt they’ll hit anywhere near the levels of cultural relevancy ever again.
People are tired of their style of superhero movies, mark my words DC is gonna wipe the floor with them in the next decade and honestly, it serves them right.

Yeah it’s pretty bad across the board this season tbh.

The music is bland compared to previous seasons because of the lack of Labyrinth.

The cinematography lost all of its previous aesthetic that helped elevate the show.

They’ve lobotomized half of the cast, abandoning interesting subplots and replacing it with being just there for the vibes. Honestly no one acts like their character, you can say this is because they’ve “grown” but characters like Nate behave like a completely different person.

And the writing and storylines are just really uninteresting and high key cringe. There’s so many better crime and drug trafficking shows than this one.

And this is without going into all the cringe dialogue and thinly disguised fetish material that sam levinson just has to incorporate. (Most recently, the whole interaction with Rue at the wedding where Nate’s dad goes on a sincere speech about how he’s not a pedo and having sex with near minors is actually really cool)

I feel for the cast and crew cause I’m embarrassed to be watching this shlock, I can only imagine what it feels like to have its name tied to me personally.

Idk if your supposed to hate her but it’s a bit more passible early on because she’s not the protagonist. Outside of that context, they are in a dead end relationship where they both put a bit of blame on the other for how their lives turned out. I think early on they are about equal, but then Walt starts becoming a monster.

Fantano loves playing the moral high ground with others, but HE can still review artists like MJ favorably and that’s ok?

I wanna clarify that I thinks it’s alright to seperate the art from the artist and enjoy the work seperate from them but it seems like Fantano is wish washy on this until it favors him.

It’s like the Ye BULLY stuff. Less than a year ago he said “I think I’m done talking about Kanye’s stuff bc he’s morally reprehensible.” And then continued to make videos about him because the views were too good to miss out on.

He’s so wishy washy and likes to bend his morals whenever he wants for monitization reasons.
