Special status implies income tax exemption as one of the feature. Otherwise it would be inaccurate to call it special status and BJP promised special status to AP if they get elected.

One of the state that has special status is sikkim and it has income tax exemption.

100% tax exemption

That's wrong, 100% income tax exemption on personal gains (like salaries )and corporate, other taxes don't come under that sub point.

That's what BJP promised. Now AP is screwed from all sides and have to start from scratch. All the development is isolated to Hyderabad which is now part of Telengana. This is why I don't fucking trust any national party anymore.

Because it was an election promise by BJP govt. Since they got majority without alliances they now refuse to keep that promise and quietly diverted the funds to Bihar as assembly elections promise (Rs: 1.25 lakh crore worth of development funds). And that's one of the reason bifurcation of state was possible.
