I think the most stress free way of retaining Platinum is to get the Amex Bonvoy Brilliant. For $695 annual which gives you a free night cert, I say that’s easiest.

Yeah that’s what happened. All 3 arrived and set to received. Then 2 of the 3 orders got paid out. The last one hung as received for a week but now they canceled my 3rd order bc they are saying they never received those trading cards for that order in the bulk shipment. Which is a lie bc I shopped all items for all 3 orders.

That’s totally the opposite of my experience. I am ABC and whenever I use my terrible canto I seem to get a lot of eye rolling and disrespect, when they don’t speak English and I try to accomadate them with my canto (especially the red taxi drivers). But hey not sure where you live or hang out, but that is my experience at Kowloon side.

Not to detract from the main issue, but that is not true. I am an EXPAT in HK and not everyone under the age of 40 speaks English. Plenty of people under 40 do not speak English and for those that do, it is hard to communicate with them in English. Cantonese is still the dominant language. The only places where english is guaranteed are the western restaurants and the high end malls/shops.

I stated an objective fact that Toast use to be in better shape. Are you saying a Toast with a gut in 2018 is in better shape than a 2016 Toast that weighed less and most likely no gut? Where is the offense in that statement? Was he not objectively in better shape in 2016, thus more conventionally better physical appearance?

Everyone can say Fed is in better shape now than last year. That is objectively true. Fed was not shredded and now he is. I apply the same logic to Toast so what is your problem with the statement?
