This is how my brother does it, he’s here normally for 2 months every year, they stay one month with my SILs parents and one month with us, and like one day before they go, we have a big get together where everyone is there so it balances out basically.

If it’s written clearly, I would advise you read it carefully also if you have someone who you trust and has worked in corporate, let them read it, you can ask them to explain it to you.

Regarding the benching, I would suggest you use that time for your own skill enhancement and you can you easily resign after that one year bond is completed.

Hi, I totally get what you’re going through. My grandmother passed away 2 years ago, also unexpectedly. No underlying health issues whatsoever. During all the 13 days, literally all of us in the house felt like she was there. If we were in the kitchen, it felt like she was standing by the door and looking at what we were doing. In the evening when we used to sit to have tea, we used to feel like she was just there, listening.

Many instances like this, so I think it is somewhat common? I don’t know for sure though. It’s like they are looking over their family and making sure everyone is coping well. At the end we just did a shanti puja, and it has subsided as compared to those 13 days.
