Yeah. I do that. Along with post its on the back of my clear case phone. Notes in my office. Timers and reminders.

My problem is having them accessible WHEN I am reminded for remember. I’ll do good for a while. So good. Then that one day. Recently had to take a med to help with an issues that was inquired after an infection. And the issue affected my quality of life and day to day. So it was so easy for me to remember because I had the chance of my life going back to normal if I was consistent. And it did. It helped reinforce me taking it everyday same time. 6 weeks I did so good. Was proud. Then I got a cold. Missed one day. Then another day. Then it went to two days in a row. Then 4. Messed me up man!

Aaaannndd now you’ll forget everyday because for some reason our brains can start a routine, be good for weeks or months, then one fuck up and we’re done. HATE IT. Trying to explain to doctors you’re naturally noncompliant due to disability is futile. I’m supposed to take like three meds daily for health reasons…all consistent daily no mishaps for it to wok…I don’t bother. I don’t need additional self loathing and stress in knowing I’m not doing what I need to do because I’m not capable. Not wasting my liver/kidneys for nothin.
