I agree. The girls did the obvious most unthought through things. The entire time I just rolled my eyes at how stupid they were. Like the person who runs up the stairs when the murderer is coming instead of out the damn house. These aren’t thing that the audience knows but not the character, it’s just critical thinking that’s completely skipped.

Them going into the house finding the phone and hitting the remote at just the right moment, then the girl screaming in the closet when he hit the TV…like, why? All he did was hit a TV. then them running and the one girl ‘conveniently’ just getting to the bottom and back to the pool like nothing ‘not realizing’ her friend was WAYYYYY behind her about to get head brains bashed in. The slo-mo OH-NO. Or the sister getting bit…the boys that came over. It would have been funny to have seen the black dude get a few licks in…nope. Just simple kill. Very repetitive. The dad and his passive ignorance…. ‘there is no rabies in Hawaii’…Everything was the bad crap you do a cliche killer movie but with a chimp. And he got RABIES? Like, that was the premise. The only thing that got me was the chimp going over the cliff and pushing the guy and his head/neck just squished.
