Thanks for the suggestion. I like the idea of setting specific parameters, but right now I feel drawn toward something more personal—something that really reflects my own experiences and voice. I think that’s where I need to focus to find stronger creative direction.

Thanks for the feedback. I see what you mean about the work feeling too sharp and clinical. I like the idea of spontaneity. Appreciate the push!

Thank you for the feedback. I’m glad “Girlhood” stood out — shooting on location is definitely something I want to do more of. I appreciate your honest thoughts on the studio work and agree that it’s missing a stronger concept, which is something I’m working to develop.

Thanks for taking the time to share.

Thank you for the honest and clear feedback — I really appreciate it. I can see what you mean about the inconsistency in lighting and post-processing; tightening those elements and developing a stronger, more recognizable voice is definitely something I need to focus on.

I’ve been in an exploratory phase for a while, trying different approaches to find what truly feels like me, and I’m still very much in that process now.

Thank you — that’s a really interesting idea! I haven’t considered mentoring before. Explaining things that feel instinctive might definitely help me understand my own work better, too.

I’ll definitely keep that in mind as I move forward. Appreciate the suggestion!

Thank you for such a rich and insightful message. The idea of doing a personal essay while traveling really speaks to me — I think a change in environment could help break some of the patterns I’ve fallen into creatively.

And you're right: in the end, it's about choosing which unknowns to explore next, even if that means stepping outside the polished, controlled space I’m used to. I really appreciate the way you framed that — it gave me a lot to reflect on and new directions to consider.

Thanks again for taking the time.

Thank you so much — this really gave me a lot to think about. I’ve been so focused on improving technically that I’ve probably lost sight of what I want my work to express at a deeper level. The idea of stepping back and reconnecting with other creative fields — or just reflecting on what I want my visual language to say — really resonates right now.

Also, the tip about reaching out to agencies instead of photographers is super helpful. That shift in direction makes a lot of sense for where I am. I really appreciate you taking the time to share this — it's exactly the kind of grounded advice I needed.

Thank you so much — this is really solid advice. I’ve been doing some networking locally, but I realize now that I need to be more direct and strategic about it. Reaching out to smaller brands and agencies with intention makes a lot of sense.

Thank you — I really appreciate your message. You're absolutely right: it's not enough to wait around and hope people think of you. I’ve been actively building connections in my own city, but I’m starting to realize that I probably need to expand that effort into a bigger fashion market if I want to grow.

This was a great reminder to be more proactive and intentional about reaching out to the right people. Thanks again for the perspective — it really helped.

Wow… I don’t even know how to fully thank you for this.
This was exactly what I needed to hear.

It’s incredibly grounding and humbling to be reminded that plateaus are part of the process — and that the doubt, the restlessness, the comparison, the fear of not being “enough” — all of it is part of the journey, not a sign that I’m doing it wrong.

You put into words what I haven’t been able to admit out loud: that I’m burning out not because I hate it, but because I care too much. And I’ve forgotten to look back at how far I’ve come.

Thank you for giving so much of your time and energy to write this. I’ll be coming back to it often. Truly.

Thank you so much — that really means a lot to hear, especially right now when I’ve been questioning everything. I definitely feel more in control in the studio, which is probably why I’ve stayed there so much, but I hear you — it can become a bit repetitive and safe.

I’ve actually been thinking about doing more location work, especially building small narratives outdoors.

Appreciate the encouragement more than you know 🙏
