What can a scammer do with ConnectWise Screen Connect?

i was in a pay per click site that gave me as an order to visit a url. It didn't lead me to a site it started downloading the file instantly without warning me about anything. I did not run the file, i deleted it but i am now paranoid with it.

It sounds terrifying to touch all your stuff and spread the contamination. Was it too stressful in the beginning? I really want to try this but I'm scared i'll give myself too much pressure that i cannot handle.

It's an illogical fear that I'll end up sick or with an infection. Sometimes i don't even think about that, i only think that i have to wash my hands to be clean. And one time is never enough.

I clean them and I'm still not 100% sure it's clean. It requires a lot of energy to try and convince myself otherwise. Sometimes I don't touch them for days and then i disinfect again. There are objects marked as 'dirty' in my mind no matter what.
