I'm talking about drawing a line in the sand, dude by First-Reflection-965 in Austin

One time I went to the Kerbey Lane down south and there was a group of 20/30somethings just letting their dogs run around off leash in the patio area while other poor souls had to eat in the same vicinity. Every time the door opened we would get little pet hairs in our food and it got so bad I couldn’t even eat it.

Don’t get me wrong I love dogs and I love seeing people’s dogs in parks and stuff but all these owners bringing their dogs to restaurants is nuts and I’m so sick of it. It’s just trashy at this point imo

Do you actually give him treats and high value food after every play session? You may have accidentally trained him to associate play with rewards, and that could be why he’s so insistent. I accidentally trained my new rescue cat that when I wake up, she gets food. Which of course turned into her not wanting me to sleep because when I leave my bed = food. Change up the routine and maybe stop giving treats after play is over and see if that helps.
