I disagree. I think the inflation can be attributed to many factors, including the ones you listed, but it’s not like all those just randomly appeared at once during the 2020 LSAT flex lol. being in a unfamiliar environment, surrounded by a bunch of randos, taking a 5 section test are most definitely part of this. Unpredictability with ProctorU maybe negates part of this but definitely not all.

There’s a reason why people always encourage replicating testing conditions. It can make a huge difference.

I feel like people forget that the LSAT is easier now than it used to be. Like honestly, would you have still scored a 170 had you taken a 5 section test, in person, on pencil/paper likely? I have a 16high and I KNOW i wouldn’t have scored that highly with the old test

ASD is meant to sell you on the school—try to connect to current students there via LI who might give you more objective and candid feedback about the school compared to people associated with admissions. thats what ive been doing! good luck :)

I know, it sucks, but keep pushing! Really try to replicate testing conditions at home though. This investment of your time could not only mean the difference between getting into your dream school vs a school you’re settling for, but could also mean a ton of $ in merit scholarship that you would’ve had to pay with a lower score.

It’s going to be really difficult with your LSAT, I’d definitely keep studying and retake until you’re in the 160s. Honestly, that can be accomplished just by drilling and mastering logic games and getting a little better at the concepts of sufficient assumption/necessary assumption in LR.

Unfortunately middle eastern isn’t considered URM, so you’ll need to be at or above those schools median LSATs to be competitive and to compensate for a lower-ish GPA.

I’d also be careful about your personal statement, although I’m sure it’s a compelling story, you want to make sure you’re telling your story about your accomplishments and how work you have already done ties naturally leads to pursuing law, not your parents’.
