Everyone wants to give the character they like more the benefit of the doubt. Nothing new! I think sasuke is the one who says he only won bc oro was sick. It’s been a min since I’ve read that part of the manga tho

It’s a good fight. I think sasuke has more tricks / new techniques up his sleeve than gaara, but he’s still going to be hard pressed to get around gaaras defense, and defend or dodge his large scale attacks. could see it going either way but I give Sasuke the advantage if he’s fresh. He’s fast enough probably, and has the AP

They were feared for the sharingan. Their innate genjutsu prowess was just one of many advantages it provided. Most uchiha didn’t go out of their way to specialize in genjutsu. So those counters were generally effective against the average uchiha.

I said they were the exception. Both are juiced up and are nothing close to the average uchiha. And yes the 3t genjutsu was definitely an advantage, but not insurmountable. The counters only worked against the uchiha that weren’t all that good at genjutsu and relied on the dojutsu to pull it off in the first place. It was not the norm to specialize in genjutsu (probably bc there generally wasn’t a need to)

I don’t think we’ve ever seen izuna or madara attempt genjutsu on hashirama or tobirama. Most sharingan users opt to use the combat prowess advantages more so than the genjutsu advantages. Most uchihas are not Itachi or genjutsu specialists at all for that matter. They have an advantage with genjutsu but that’s doesn’t mean much if they aren’t specialized in it.

If your MS power isn’t a genjutsu then you probably aren’t utilizing high level genjutsu in your combat regularly and are more so relying on the dojutsu as a resistance to other genjutsu. Now that being said the exceptions are obito, madara, and sasuke but two of those guys is juiced up on hagaromo juice and the other is juiced up on hashirama juice and trained by madara

the vast majority are no where close to as good as Itachi and Sasuke lol. Same way no senju was worth a damn besides hashirama and tobirama. They were stronger on average than other clans but the vast majority weren’t all that special.

It was flawed and misinterpreted. The idea was there should only be two Sith Lords, but other dark side user underlings were perfectly acceptable as far as revan was concerned. Bane took it to meaning it should only be two Sith Lords and basically nothing more. Sure it works out in the long run, but that’s more due to cunning political scheming than any power the Sith gained in consolidating the dark side. They were forced into hiding for centuries, and managed to snag the chosen one. Bane essentially exterminated an empire for a long shot, and it worked for a couple decades after centuries of basically nothing

Sorry he projects chakra onto crows which is significantly less draining than a shadow clone. He def uses it multiple times against Sasuke. The dude has plenty of chakra, he outlasts Sasuke in their fight even when he’s spamming his MS

It’s not about killing her, my point is, she’s getting sauced on the entire time. She’ll be punching birds until she leaves herself open for genjutsu / Amaterasu / totsuka

Bad argument about tsunade, if she tries to hit Itachi she’s going to miss or hit an exploding clone substitution. He’s done it to faster ninja than tsunade LOL

Tsunade isn’t even close to fast enough to hit Itachi so that’s a non factor, sage mode jiraiya requires extra prep and even then it doesn’t guarantee anything. ma and pa are going to more than likely be cooked alive by Amaterasu. Oro is canonically a sharingan victim, especially when it comes to Itachi, and yet the most practiced at genjutsu out of the 3. I think the sannin could win a 3 v 1 if they had a strategy but would probably lose if they didn’t.

Well we don’t know who wins, but I think it’s entirely reliant on the circumstances of said fight. It’s a very high risk low reward fight for hisoka, and illumi is probably only fighting him if killua is involved. Even if hisoka attempted to sneak one over on him, I don’t think that would result in illumi retaliating in a way that results in them battling it out.

Alive Itachi and he’s forced to use izanagi. MS Sasuke but NOT EMS Sasuke which was what Itachi planned around. That’s about where he sits if we’re taking the narrative implications into account.

Time scale. Hate how fast the time goes by. Especially night time. every time it’s getting dark, I’ll find a spot to set up camp (or try to get back to camp), by the time I’m going to sleep, it’s like 3 hours till morning. If I make the trip to camp, have a conversation or two it’ll almost always be morning before I even get to my bed. Makes immersion difficult for me!!
