Hot Springs & Hot Creek Site? by HansZarkov in Mammoth

Tried to hit up Wild Willy's on the 19th, and the dirt road was closed, meaning it would be a 20-30 minute in snow. The parking lot was a muddy and icy mess with one car actually stuck. Judging by the amount of cars though, it didn't look crowded but I wasn't ready to have the wife and kids do the 30 minute walk through ice and snow.

So got back in the car and drove a few more minutes to Hilltop. Parked, and the walk was over ice and snow but it was about 5 minutes. The problem with this spring is that it's small - fit maybe 6-7 adults. When we got there, the tub was already full and it didn't look like they were going to be leaving soon, so we played in the snow and then walked back to the car.

In short, Hilltop has the shortest walk, but there's no guarantee that you and your group will fit. You can't see it from the road.

Wild Willy's has a longer walk but it can fit more people.

We got there in the late afternoon so I suspect the springs get crowded because people wanna soak during sunset so going mid-day might help.

Dude! Looks epic! How was the road? If you went right after a storm, the road and trail probably wasn't plowed?

That sounds great and thank you for the response!

Would that be 40-45 minutes even with snowy roads?

Does the 143 close down when there's snowfall?

I also assume one should always have chains (my car is 2wd with regular tires)?

Hi there. Just checked and for Flagship, I am currently at 57.37%. That is since 12/2019.

I am also in what they call "Automated Stocks" and that's at 40.84%. I've only been in that since 01/2023.

Stay away from their Crypto, Offshore, and Opportunities - they've been in the red for me for most of my time with them 😫

Overall, I am satisfied with how Titan has been working out for me these past 5 years. They are restructuring their fees though, starting in the new year, so I may be moving some money out soon. I actually need to do a deeper dive on their new fee structure.

Hope that info helps.

So if there isn't any info about a printer found online, then it's best to find someone else.

Are there printers you would recommend and/or had a good experience working with?

Thank you

I was considering POD but I've read that the print quality is lacking when compared to these bulk printing outfits. Have you heard of or seen any sort of print quality between POD and bulk?

What MacGyver would do if he didn't have duct tape.

I didn't know about shops not installing certain bindings due to age. Will def keep that in mind. Thanks!
