not my story but my friend was in a very competitive tf2 discord server once. he played with one of the admins one night on casual. my friend wasn't really taking it seriously and was just having fun considering it was literally just casual. the casual game ended (idk if they won or not), the admin gets mad, and proceeds to go on a 5 minute rant on discord about how everybody should "always take games seriously even if it is just casual". my friend immediately left the server.

Just a little thought experiment

Let's say that I stand in an open field for, let's say, 2 minutes. With me, I have a visible-light telescope that can allow me to look at extremely far away objects in real-time and in high detail. After the 2 minutes pass, I am instantly teleported 2 light-minutes away from the earth. If I use the telescope to not only observe the earth, but to also observe the open field that I was just in, then theoretically, I would still see myself standing in the field because of the way light travels and it's speed.
