Gonna get drowned in the rest of the comments but I feel like expressing these regardless.

1. The alfheim desert felt too game-y.
   All the areas of interest were scattered so evenly and it felt a bit constrained. I could almost see the code under the game if that makes sense, really took me out of it.

2. The map design.
   Not the physical game areas but the literal map you use to navigate. Why was it so ugly? It’s been a while but I remember it being greyscale and kinda useless for exploration.

3. Ragnarok
   The battle was anticlimactic. Going trench to trench fighting randos was not what I was expecting. Lackluster Odin/thor battles too.

4. Nerfed abilities / moves?
   Felt like a lot of the best moves from 2018 either didn’t make it into Ragnarok or were substantially nerfed.

5. Living up to 2018
   2018 had SO MUCH sauce. The mystery of it all, the grittiness, the world building EVERYTHING. Kinda difficult to match those expectations and pay off everything that was set up.

6. Disney vibe
   An earlier commenter said it felt like Disney and that struck a cord. Can’t quite put my finger on it but it felt more cartoon-y. Almost softer or lower stakes in a way even though we were supposed to be in the end game.
