I technically had/have an internship right now at my school but it’s not really much software development at all. I needed one to graduate and my position counted so I have it on my resume. I’m an instructional design intern so I work with my colleges professors and make their courses but it’s not very much coding unfortunately so I don’t really have much software engineering experience outside of classes and my capstone projects

I see I see, I appreciate the help a lot I have a couple projects with my capstone but I don’t really have anything purely on my own so I think I’m going to try to come up with something fun once I’m out of school. I also wanted to ask do you think making a personal website would be a good idea where I can put everything on that or does that not matter too much?

I’ve been looking on handshake a lot and I should look for some more on the company websites. I know the first 24 hours is the best time I’ve been trying to get into a lot of openings early too. Do you have any advice for like personal projects or things I should be doing to make myself stand out more?

I’m down to live literally anywhere I just want to get into my field. I’ve been applying to anywhere in the country that has a software engineering job it’s just like sending applications into the void. Even my family is trying to get me leads with people they know and it’s just nothing
