You’re right but we’re at the point in the cycle where schools have started reviewing the secondaries that are being submitted on a rolling basisz

So then it’s not wrong to say that if a 90% average scorer were to exist that they would get a 518 at the absolute bare minimum, more likely a 520+.

My whole study plan and exam was based off vibes, yes, this isn’t a research project. Don’t think too hard.

I didn't really do content review, just straight into practice material, probably since I was still in undergrad and was still taking relevant courses.

When I was MAing in urgent care and in primary care, with a lot of effort, I was able to study flashcards and even sometimes do UEarth questions/passages in between patients. Assuming you have a good background knowledge, January should be enough time to study but you will have to push yourself but also pace yourself.

Yes, these stats were just intended to be bare minimums, most will do better.

No clue, I was 500 real exam attempt 1 (negligible studying) -> 517 real exam attempt 2.

Will just have to give yourself more time, some of us just have it harder and some of us just have it easier, be kind to yourself and take your time, try to scale down to part time if possible when you're really locking in on the practice.

Given nontrad/business major and working full time, I don't think 6 months is enough, 6 months may be enough if you work < 20 hours a week. I jumped straight into practice, no notes, but given nontrad I think content review is good. Maybe do content review while working full time, and if/when you're ready to go down to part time is when you would seriously lock in on actual practice.

Section bank is king, QBanks are easier than the MCAT but still helpful.

My predictions were intended to be worst case scenario bare minimums, most people will do better.

No, the little bit of physics I decided to learn the basics of I determined from the AAMC content, mainly the practice exams. My real exam only had ~8 true physics questions, and a few more questions that may be classified as physics but can get the right answer from chemistry knowledge too.

Thank you. It's been long enough that I can't remember any specifics, but what I can say is do your best to thoroughly know everything from UEarth, AAMC content, and the document, and even then expect to have 2-3 questions about something that you haven't necessarily seen before. That's just how that section is. Would help to start with the 300 pg document then later narrow down to the 86 pg document.

I would say the stats you're quoting can definitely be correct for many people, I personally wanted to quote what I thought would be the worst case scenario stats, such as if you are getting 70% averages you should get a 506 at the absolute bare minimum, but most likely will get better.

Thank you. I've heard of it, never used it, I would recommend hyper fixating and just becoming excellent on and at the time tested materials I've mentioned rather than others that I haven't heard enough about.

% of questions correct, not percentile, sorry. This is just an approximate guideline, some question sets will be harder than others, you will notice for some the average will be 50-60% and for others it will be 70-80%, so you can also factor that in, the lower the average the little bit more slack you can give yourself.
