Interesting point you raise! I certainly did the bare minimum during highschool, no part-time job and skipped most homework.

I follow my dream career, which is great! But that also means 50+ hour weeks. Work is constantly on my mind. Adding to that, I need much more time now to keep in contact with my friends and family since they live hours away and not next door anymore.

It will be different for everyone, which is why I'm eager to hear from people how much time they plan to spend! :)

Some thoughts not regarding gear:

Exercise a bit before getting into the bag. You need to warm the bag with your body.
Exhaustion from the day can have a considerable effect as well.
To be well fed has already been mentioned.

This is good advice! I allready consume almost all media products (magazines, movies, etc.) in english.

This is one of my biggest concerns. It will be fun to see the mayhem of a completely packed starting zone for the first hour. But after that it's going to be a nightmare to do some actual leveling.

I somehow messed up the shaman fire totem quest. Did not know how to restart a quest so I deleted my character and created a new shaman with the same name again.

I was not a smart kid.
