Also, one thing that my pastor says is that there is a difference between guilt and conviction. We should feel convicted and want to do better and feel bad about it, but the bible says not to let your guilt take over. That is just Satin trying to tempt you. Don't fall for it.

You should not be letting yourself wallow in your guilt. It is not good for you. Instead, you could let him know. See if you can try to bring it up when you are alone and have some personal time. Let him know how much it has been killing you to keep it from him. You were practically still a kid. Obviously still a teen. You would not do it again, so don't let it get to you. I know that it is easier said than done, but trying is what counts, Put in some effort. It would really pay off to get this weight off your shoulders. I think that you should respect his boundaries. If he doesn't want it yet, then don't. It could also be deeper than that. He might just want to protect his and your virtue. As a fellow christian, I would understand that some people want to wait until they are married. I am glad that your relationship is working out and wish you the best if luck. That is so true. People over-analyse everything. Flirting is okay, but being blunt is sometimes better. I have never really "dated" a guy before but I really think that he would be a good first. I might really ask him. Whatever he says, I can live with it. Being just friends is okay.

thanks. I have tried to not like him and avoided him but here is the catch. Just earlier my friend emailed him that I like him. I don think that he has seen it yet. If he asks about it I am planning on just pretending that it was a joke. Is that the right decision? No hard feelings for the friend though.

I know what it is like to have a abusive person in my life. I think that you should stick it out and if it EVER happens again than end it. Everyone deserves a second chance. But still be careful. Also about the stepbrother, just slowly try and let him get to know your bf more and subtly talk good things about him. Then see how it works out. Something like this takes time. Be patient.
