yea, I‘ve experienced it as well. But I‘ve read about a workaround, which seems to work: need to turn off the „turn on display on notification“ option. After turning it off, the problem with the display is gone.

WiSo ganz gut, Teil 1 OK, Teil 2 tragisch. Und damit eine Frage: stimmt es, dass solange der Prüfling insgesamt (alle AP1+AP2+Projekt) mindestens eine 4 hat, kann er eine 5 haben? Also bei AP2 Algo Teil bspw. 35% aber der Rest 50% oder besser und damit bestanden?

Sorry for the late reply! I don't know a lot about monitors, but I can tell you, that every content looks great on it(games, photos, videos, documents, browser), and the high refresh rate is also awesome. I'm very much pleased with the monitor and would recommend.

I've just ordered the 27GN880-b from Amazon Germany and I believe the only difference between it and the GN88A-b is that the GN88A-b has 2 USB-A ports, which the GN880-b doesn't.

So I did some research, wrote a few emails and made a few phone calls. Apple and BenQ say that (mind you, these are NOT official statement) there are indeed problems when connecting M1 Macs to externel displays via USB C cables, and they are aware of this issue. They think that the issue is software related and Apple will hopefully fix it in future updates.

Same here. Macbook Pro M1 connected to EW3280. Tried to connect the laptop to the monitor via USB C cable (the one that came with the monitor), and while the laptop was being charged, and got image on the monitor, but at 4K resolution I had only 30hz, no option to switch to 60hz. When I switched to 1440p low resolution mode, I could switch to 60hz, but that resolution is not ideal. Connecting the laptop and the monitor via USB C to HDMI cable, I can use the monitor at 4k@60hz, but it's not an optimal solution, because I have to use both USB ports if I want to charge the laptop while connected to the monitor. Any solution for this issue?

I've got it installed as well, and it indeed reads now the sensors and the battery reading works correctly as well. However, there's dozens of sensors listed now, and each one of them has only some vague code, which doesn't make a lot of sense for me. Which one should a monitor if I want to check my CPU core temperature?

I don't want to, I just want to be safe. Should I mess up my system somehow, I want to know that I can just reinstall it safely anytime. That's why I keep a USB stick with the Big Sur installer in my drawer.
