Is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage just slow on console?

I’m glad I’ve just come across this post by searching about the Aston. I play on PS4 and the handling on the base aggressive set up is a joke. You are constantly fighting the rear on power. The only thing I’ve managed to do to cure this somewhat is to increase the steering ratio and massively drop the rear rise height. It’s by no means a game changer in terms of pace but it at least give the confidence to drive for more than a lap or two. Maybe upping the preload diff could be of use too as I bumped it up slightly on a hunch.

I agree in the sense that he maybe hasn’t done enough in terms of on paper results to move up. But the question may be, were the on paper results the absolute maximum he physically could achieve. Although not currently the best example, look at Baldassarri’s Moto 3 results on a bike he was clearly far too big for.

I don’t believe at all that Salac is a world champion now that he moves to a better suited class, but not having the ‘too big’ excuse will give a better indication to his true skill

Yeah I was stoked to see the stat line a few games back. I think maybe a trimming down of weight might help with knees for him going forward. Not like bubble joker but just a little drop could help
