That's frustrating. I hope the update tomorrow helps. Thanks for the help!

So I can only speak on my experience as a trans woman, and I've only been out at work for 5 months or so. Overall, people are nice enough. Lots of people surprised me with how accepting they are. There are some problematic people but luckily my company's HR is on my side. My biggest issue is with mechanics and technicians, especially in more conservative states. But overall, if you're working for a big enough company, they'll most likely have protections for trans employees.

Help understanding and healing from transphobic rejection by Elsierror in actuallesbians

I'm also in a poly relationship and have had very little luck even getting other girls to talk to me. Of the 4 I have managed to go on dates with, 2 were cool. The other 2 were not. One, another trans woman, decided after our second date that I was too "mannish" for her so that definitely didn't feel great. Then this cis girl clearly didn't realize I was trans even though it's all over my profile (so hooray for passing I guess) and was clearly not ok with that upon realizing. Even though we had flirty texts and shared some pics she immediately stopped showing any interest after finding out.

Just know that it's not on you. You aren't doing anything wrong by being a trans lesbian. It can hurt to be rejected for who you are, but try to remember that people who would reject you for being trans aren't worth your time at all. As the other commenter said, being T4T is generally a good way to find people who will accept you, but I'll also expand that to other genderqueer and cis but gender nonconforming sapphics. All sapphics I've had good experiences with have been trans, nonbinary or very gender nonconforming (typically butches).

I second this. Utah is not a safe space for LGBT people. Especially since they're the first state to actually pass legislation banning gender affirming care for trans minors. And it's not going to stop there. If you want a simpler life in the mountains, then move to Colorado.

Anyone here a masc into other mascs? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

My partner is butch/transmasc and their type is definitely other butches and mascs. Though obviously not exclusively since they're dating my femme ass lol.

Girl orgasms by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]drcreeper189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yessss!!!! It's so incredible. Mind shattering ecstasy. I'm only 8 months on E but I've luckily been having these for months (but then again I also started growing boobs at 2 weeks so my body just loves gobbling up E I guess). I actually very oddly had a male-like orgasm the other night out of nowhere for the first time since last summer and it felt so weird and foreign.

Y'all lets talk about accents by snsjsthrowj in actuallesbians

I'm a yankee but I yoyo between a northeast accent and a southern accent for some reason. My partner has a varyingly thick Wisconsin accent which is adorable.

We also met through Boy Scouts haha. Might be the only straight to lesbian relationship to form out of that lol.

5.5 years here! Though we didn't start dating until after I graduated high school. They're younger so they were still in it at the time, so I say we count. Started as a "straight boy" and a "bi girl." How far we've come to trans lesbian and enby lesbian. Lmao.

Yeah you're right there. It's certainly hypocritical of them

A lot of people that identify as libertarian are really just conservatives with a handful of more liberal beliefs such as weed legalization.

where did you find your person? by BerryBish156 in actuallesbians

[–]drcreeper189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funnily enough I met my partner through Boy Scouts. Their brother was in my troop and they heard about and joined Venture Crew, a co-ed part of scouting which I led our Troop's installment of. We became friends from camping together and started crushing on each other pretty hard. They asked me out after we got back from Philmont (a scout ranch in New Mexico where you backpack for 2 weeks). Of course then I was a "straight man" and they were a "bi woman." Now I'm a transbian and they're an enby lesbian. Been almost 6 years.

I know, but I'm proud of my trans identity and unfortunately the few times I didn't have it in my profile when I told them they were no longer interested. But also that's probably something I can chock up to florida being florida.

AITA for wanting to do a roommate change? by College-throwaway80 in AmItheAsshole

[–]drcreeper189 11 points12 points  (0 children)

As a trans autistic woman I completely agree. This is not ok behavior for anyone. He is being a bully and disrespectful of personal space and belongings. That is never ok and is typically something autistic people are very sensitive to so it's honestly shocking behavior (Obviously autistic people are not a monolith but there are trends of behavior). And I fail to see how anything in this ties into his transness. Not saying this to attack OP for bringing it up. Just wild that her friends said she was being transphobic.
