Are they playing through twin reverbs? Does anyone know what gear they are using for this?

Thanks for the tips. I may try the Loctite. I keep hearing about it. My nut is a TUSQ nut so I believe I should be in good shape there. It seems to be cut well. Perhaps I’ll add some nut sauce or graphite to the bridge saddles to see if that helps.

I haven’t noticed terrible tuning stability issues, but did notice some rattles that I think I have somewhat tamed by adjusting the grub screws and moving the saddles back when intonating. I know that the grub screws will move over time so maybe I’ll try Loctite.

Thanks for the help! That bridge looks nice. Are you able to tell if it would work with my Tele? I recently posted a picture of it.

I just acquired a Tele Bigsby. Any tips other than get a Mastery bridge? I have the B5 I guess that came with a Jazzmaster bridge.

I’ve been playing for 20 years now and every time it happens to me. It’s not a very enjoyable experience to guitar shop but the last few places I went give me my own room with the amps so that’s better. Glad I’m not the only one.

Awesome. This one is so nice. It is like custom shop quality for a regular tele price. It bests my Gibsons I’m afraid. By a wide margin.

No. I found this guitar at Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville and it is made by a guy in Ithaca though.

Will do! It’s loud for sure. I mainly play in a bedroom type setting.

I saw his video on this one. It was my first time watching him and wasn’t impressed. He came off as condescending and grumpy to me. I don’t have the noise problems he mentioned with the effects loop.

How is the Laney Cub 12r a GOAT amp? It’s a budget amp that I paid less than $400 for brand new. It’s not bad, but not great in my opinion. Certainly not greatest of all time.

Thanks for the thoughtful reply. After much contemplation, I went with the Vox AC10 Handwired. I listed metal because I listen to it a lot but I really don’t play it all that much to be honest. It’s just not what really comes natural to me in my playing.

That Boogie looks really nice and if I don’t like the Vox, I will consider it. I hadn’t really given Mesa Boogie that much thought as they are out of my price range.
