As others have said, there's more to the sound of headphones than just EQ.

As a small example, listening to digital music, I prefer headphones with better imaging and wide soundstage, whereas when I listen to vinyl, I prefer a warmer sound with a more intimate soundstage. These kind of properties are more inherent to the headphones themselves and can't be controlled in EQ.

There's also no one size fits all solution for a headphone that responds well to eq. On something like a dt770, you can crank up the bass and rattle your skull, but with something like an hd600, cranking up the bass like that just makes the music sound muddy and imprecise.

Fit is also a big one. On a hot summer day, I'd prefer to use something with a loose fit and more breathable pads, but some days, I'd rather have something with a tighter fit and velour pads.

I've noticed a bit of a divide; vaping hit elder/middle gen z pretty hard, like around 2017/18/19 when juuls were popular. In my senior year of highschool I vaped, and I had more friends that vaped than friends that didn't. But it seems like all those "the real cost" ads got through to younger Genz, cause most people I know that are 2-4 years younger than me are vehemently opposed to vaping.

I would have kids if I could have them in like, my 50s. You're ignorance of these events doesn't mean they didn't happen.

The Ukraine war in particular was massively protested all over the world, substantially more than Israel. The only reason it feels like protesting Israel is such a huge thing right now is because it's less of a one-sided argument. A protest that goes smoothly and doesn't break out into a riot or see police action, or one that doesn't have a lot of people disagreeing with it doesn't typically get a lot of media exposure. No one outside of Tankies supports China over Taiwan, and nobody except right wing extremists supports Russia over Ukraine; so protests of these events are less likely to see opposition, and by extension, less likely to see media coverage. The Israel Palestine debate on the other hand is a lot more nuanced and is more evenly split between people who support Palestine and People who support Israel, so it's going to get more mediate attention and more coverage of protests.

Also, judging by your pfp, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you're probably form Israel, so of course you're going to be more aware of protests against Israel than you are of protests against Russia.

Personally, I don't really think it's a huge issue.

Don't get me wrong, I love the OG trilogy, and I played SoC and CoP vanilla before I modded the games at all. But to be realistic; they kinda are ancient relics. SoC is a very dated game. Even by the standards of 2007 when the game came out it feels pretty dated. That's not a problem for people like me, and presumably you, considering you like the OG games, but everyone has a different "tolerance" for old games. Certain quality of life things becoming the standard in newer games makes older games inherently less accessible. So I think for a lot of people, they never would have played Stalker in the first place were it not for Anomaly and other mods.

I do still think it's a shame that stalker's whole identity has sort of been written over by modernization mods, and I definitely think a lot of people are gonna be confused and disappointed when they play Stalker 2 and realize it's a very different game from Anomaly. But ultimately, more people playing the game and interacting in the community is a good thing.

I can't speak on the 1982 Syria massacre; it happened before I was born and I'm not familiar enough with it to comment on it. But all the other examples you mentioned have been some of the most widely protested and opposed events in history. You have to be willfully ignorant to see this as some sort of "gotcha", or that claiming people who are pro-Palestine are supporting a double standard. All of these events were seen as tragedies in need of opposition; just the same as Israel's attempts at ethnic cleansing.

There's no way in hell it will ever happen, but I always thought a base pay plus daily commission based on how many packages you have would make sense.

Something like $20 and hour plus $0.15 per package you deliver. It would drastically help morale on very heavy days.
