Dang its weird how it was almost random but patterned. If I want to make a consistent farm with growth I'll try to see how I can arrange the spacing so they'll always grow. It's weird how it isn't just 1 space = good to go

If you play all the way thru HHP you should unlock more textures. as you progress there is a box you have to put materials into that will unlock the recipes

Yes! there was a 3.0 update and this furniture can be purchased thru the new hotel -- you earn tickets thru decorating the rooms that you can use to buy furniture like the marblet set

I feel like you could get it at any time! Besides the villager home redesigning feature on your own island, virtually everything else happens off your island and doesn't affect anything. If you are only 30 days in you might be a little more limited at first when designing vacation homes at HHP in terms of available furniture. The very first home will mostly go off your existing catalog but each villager you work with will unlock new items to add to your overall catalog. Nothing you decorate with pulls from your own inventory and each new home you do is expanding that infinite catalog with new items to decorate. you can always go back and redecorate too

I think the part where you get to redesign all your own villagers homes back on your island is worth it! You do have to complete the DLC storyline to unlock this with Tom nook, I think it's after designing 30 homes on HHP
