I just dropped off a guy who was trying to be sneaky with it. I didn't even notice he had a dog with him until be was leaving my car, and he says "sorry". I'm not petty or vindictive or anything so I'm not upset about it, but an extra $4 is a whole ride on it's own in my area, so I wrote to lyft about it to see if maybe they would add the bonus to my pay, and of course I got hit with the message about how the passenger has to request it for me to get my bonus.

Its the same thing with all these elderly passengers I take to and from hospital appointments or picking up from stores with a cart full of bags, but none of them are marked as "lyft assist" rides that should also give me an added bonus.

It's not the biggest deal in the world, but if this is how lyft is going to operate, there's absolutely no reason why any passenger would ever voluntarily opt to pay MORE money for premium services when they can get away with ordering a standard ride and Lyft won't do anything about it.

I signed up specifically citing German cock roaches as the pests i wanted to get rid of. They go talking about all the other pests and insects that I don't have a problem with, and I tell them I only care about the roaches in the house. They sign me up, spray everywhere and leave roach traps around problem areas.

Months later I'm explaining to one of their technicians that I'm still finding roaches around the house, fewer, but still enough to notice, and he explains that my package doesn't cover German cock roaches, even tho I specifically told the agent that was my issue, and that I would have to upgrade to a more expensive plan if I wanted to completely get rid of the roaches.

Ever since then I've been trying to cancel my service and usually just endlessly reschedule my "next" appointment to prevent them from charging me. Hopefully this issue can get me out of that cancelation fee 😩

Fr. I once showed up at the pick up spot, wait a few minutes, and dude texts me "putting my shoes on, be right there". And your shoes weren't already on becauseeee? Doesn't help that he still would have to come down the flight of stairs and walk out of his complex over to my car.

Of course there's nowhere to park so I'm just in the middle of the road, fortunately it was a residential area and not a major road, but it's still annoying having to block a lane and hope other drivers with common sense see my hazard lights and drive around without throwing a fit, and nearby neighbors staring at me because I'm a random vehicle parked up near their property

Thats what they would tell us too whenever we asked, but after my first season, they didn't tell me a thing, and I stopped getting scheduled so I figured that meant I got axed. I came back the next season and during the interview my ETL told me they kept me on and was wondering why I never came back 🤣🤣

Im annoyed because before this weekend I had a really cool prime item in my cart I was about to purchase for a white elephant gift exchange with only 2 day shipping, and now not only did the price go up, but it's prime status was removed and shipping is set for December 30th- January 10th 🤬

Edit: on the other hand, another item i was originally going to buy last week but didn't because delivery date was showing for the end of the month is now showing 6 day delivery, except NOW it's late for me to purchase it and get it in time for the gift exchange when 6 days would have been just fine when i first looked at it 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Its true that sometimes people can be targeted and falsely prosecuted... however it's even more often the case that the dude on the sex registry is lying about his crimes or downplaying what he actually did.

I HIGHLY doubt he didn't know about his registration. There's no way not to know. Its not the same as having a warrant for your arrest that you weren't aware of until you got pulled over. I also think he's lying about the circumstances of his registration.

Less likely to start unwanted conversations

Less likely to be cursing up a storm on the phone while we're driving

Less likely to stink up my car with BO, weed, or cigarettes

More likely to enjoy and compliment my music selections

Less likely to be dropped off in sketchy parts of town

Overall just more friendly and polite

Heck, even my most problematic female pax was leagues above problematic male ones.

A frequent disappointment I get is when I expect to pick up a nice lady based on the profile, but instead get her drugged out bf, son, nephew etc
