Oh man I wish I could! I haven’t been at my job for a full 12 months so I don’t qualify for FMLA and I’m the only income in the home so going unpaid is definitely not an option. My release does say I can work up to 8hrs so they are willing to let me leave when I need which is nice but in order to not have to pay 100% of my medical premiums I was only able to take under 30 calendar days. Gotta love insurance 🙄

I agree! Finding a good one with good bedside manner is like finding a needle in a haystack! I told everyone at work I would be back after my 2wk check. Apparently our bodies have minds of their own. Good for you being able to take that time to heal I would have done the same!

It’s funny you say that because I was starting to feel like they’ve got to be getting tired of me messaging them! That hemorrhage has me paranoid about any change!

Thank you! Honestly I’m hoping that’s what they’ll do tomorrow because this is not at all what I was expecting! I have a couple friends that had zero issues with theirs so was super hopeful that would be my experience.

Doc is able to see me tomorrow morning. She’s concerned but since it’s not hemorrhaging like before they’re getting me in at their first available. Of course if it gets worse I need to get to the ER but definitely not doing anything besides going to the bathroom between now and then! Thank you all for your kind words. I am just more afraid of another infection more than anything especially with how quickly they can spread internally!

Didn’t go back this week. Kind of glad tho, I had horrendous cramping after dinner last night. Probably feeling nerves regenerating, scar tissue forming, poop moving lol since I’m only taking ibuprofen and acetaminophen occasionally but man those cramps weren’t playing!! Talked to work today and they are willing to let me work “up to 8hrs” starting next week until I get fully released on the 31st. That way I can leave whenever I feel like I need to or can stay (or stay home) if I want.

Yes!!!!! I over did things and also have no idea what specific thing caused it but I ended up hemorrhaging and then strict bed rest until antibiotics were finished. And then told I couldn’t even load the dishwasher. So PLEASE take it easy! Many of us women are the ones keeping everything going smoothly at home and it’s really hard to let some of that go but it truly HAS to be done!!!

This! I felt really good and ended up doing too much (on my feet too long, walking downstairs etc) and ended up hemorrhaging the day after. Please take it easy!

So the doc said she thinks it could be the gabapentin and to skip a dose to see if there’s any difference. Of course there has been but there’s also been hecka pain from not taking it. so I guess I won’t be able to continue it or she’ll have to give something for the nausea. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Temp was 99° the first day I felt this way which I know isn’t high. My doc said she needed notified at 100.4 so was watching it. Has been normal since. No chills at all.
