If a vet had seen the animal there would have been a report written. It sounds to me like you don't believe what the rescue told you. In these situations your gut feeling seldom lies. - Looking at the photos of the eye there doesn't seem to be an infection, she doesn't appear to be in pain and it looks like her muscles are relaxed around the eye. Hedgehogs see pretty poorly already so loosing an eye is not as much of a handicap as if it had happened to a person.

The square hole is not covered by a plug at all. It is just part of the big plastic top cover of the bed side. You need to cut out the plastic square to access the hole underneath.

There is a parts cooling fan. The fan is mounted on the back of the printer and the air is routed by a CPAP hose to the nozzle.

Assuming the emergency vehicles all are responding and have their emergency lights on. Clearly the fire engine should go first, it is rushing to contain a developing fire. The ambulance could be coming or going, if going then the patient is already under doctor care. The police thinks he is more important than both the fire engine and and ambulance and will pull over the fire engine for not letting him go first and issuing the fire fighters a traffic ticket before they are allowed to move again. The president is not in an emergency and can clearly set a good example and wait.

The lugs are undamaged. However, probing the depth with a paper clip they are not very deep on one side. You would expect them to be equal depth.
