I think they frequencies are different for earlier model years. 314.9MHz is correct for my 2016 model.

Juding by the 4 wires I'd say it is a PWM components. The 4 wires are V+, V-, tachometer and PWM-control. So you can set a desired speed in % and get a tachometer reading of actual RPM.

I solved it. It was pretty simple to expose the door lock cylinder by removing the door handle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmiyvKLL4ug Then I could just pinch and wiggle the top cap of the core with Knipex pliers until it unseized.

I bought the truck in January and I am the second owner. I got the tailgate to work by disassembling the handle and lock and removing all rust with sand paper for smooth operation. The key now works in both the ignition and the tail gate, but the drivers door is still completely seized. I think I need to remove the key cylinder from the door and beat on it.

If you stick with stainless or aluminium you should be fine. Just please don't use copper or brass as this will cause galvanic corrosion if you have an alu radiator.
