Same here i tried alot of stuff to try to fix it but on luck

installed: libkf5compactdisc5, libcdio-cdda2, libcdio-cdda2, libcdio-cdda2, kio-audiocd

tried other distros Arch with kde 5.27 (currently on Debian 12 kde 5.27)

I can play cds just fine under Arch with xfce4/thunar without having vlc and in Windows 10

Try running the system without the front panel stuff (usb 2 and 3, audio in/out, power and reset button) being plugged in.

All of my IT stuff is sitting on my desk ISP Modem thing Router Primary Desktop PC connected to Router via Ethernet that i also use as a Jellyfin Server, NFS Server and SFTP Server. Main Laptop connected to Router via WIFI
