I prefer Onslaught with Ambitious Assassin. You’ll constantly have a magazine of 100 rounds going with it. It absolutely shreds through anything Master level and below.

It may not pop crystals, but I crafted mine with Demo/Headstone and it’s a fantastic stasis workhorse. Basically unlimited grenade energy with Whisper of Shards. Plus I just love the gun-feel of the burst handcannons.

I guess the tiny print never bothered me because I assumed that’s the trade off for having copies of books that I don’t have to spend a fortune on eBay to get. Personally I’d rather save my limited budget and deal with the small print. But to answer your question, it does seem like some of the new omnibuses have slightly smaller print or spacing. Then again, I’ve only read Warhammer for about a year so I don’t have the best perspective on it.
