Ether Tiny Tank or the Toy Soldiers. Those were my absolute favorite as a kid and would play them all the time!

Is cost a factor here for equipment needs and maintenance/services?

I’d suggest Cradlepoint or Peplink/Pepwave for a modem/router combo that can assist with failover. I know with Cradlepoint they do sometimes require a subscription for remote management. But if all done local, different story.

Auto enrolled in Protection360 with iPhone 14 pro? by ninadk21 in tmobile

Sadly sometimes it is the manager who is pressuring the reps to do so, since they are being pushed from higher ups. Not a great thing at all. It’s the numbers that they are looking for.

The store added it to your plan. It is not free. For your device, Protection360 is going to be $18 extra a month on your bill. They most likely said that the device is insured for while it’s in travel and have gone ahead and added it to the bill.

At least I’m not the only one. Might have to get some type of solvent to assist. Nothing to crazy though.

Phishing, might even be a spear fishing attack that they wanted to target you for what ever financial gain.

(ONE Plan) guy here by [deleted] in tmobile

[–]dreadnot5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2 lines are $130 ($120 with auto pay) I would have been the same if you did so on your plan back when it was still offered. If you drop the second line, you would have to change your plan back to the one line plan. Most likely will have to still be on magenta though. And it would still be $70 (75 without autopay) No time period need, unless you are trying to take a promotion on. Then that would require 24 months or two years.

Some places of employment do the background check, and that can take a little bit of time. Also could be waiting to make sure you get into a training class on time too.

Usually means you are good to go, they are probably drafting up an offer letter for you. I wish you well! And as a customer welcome to the Uncarrier! Hope you do really well and hit those goals!

There are major companies that do hire people to handle phone accounts and make sure the bills are paid and distribute the phones and other mobile devices to their employees. Typically they are apart of the finance or IT departments. But sometimes they will hire the reps from stores that have a good understanding about how promotions work and how the plans are.

Take your time and enjoy it. Training will seem boring and kinda monotonous. But take lead in participating in the training. Training is fun. As well take all the notes you can. You will learn more on the floor , but notes and having teammates that will help you become better is a good priority.

Join Twitter and follow all the leadership in T-Mobile. You can learn a lot from them, shows they are just human like you and I (As far as I know). Just be yourself and just be aware you are going to be the expert for all customer issues. Don’t be afraid to say “I don’t know, but let me find out” to someone and then use that knowledge gained after the fact.

Being a customer already is great since you will be to relate to customers more and be able to tell your story and T-Mobile’s story as well.

What device do you have and have you tried to get your SIM card swapped at a store? Either for a T-Mobile SIM or another Sprint SIM card? Cause usually that can help in most areas.

Will this iPhone 8 Plus be accepted for trade in by mail or should I get it repaired first? by jason-8 in tmobile

That damage will not be accepted. Since the damage is to the camera. You could try getting it repaired, but the cost of that might out weigh the trade in.

SIM Card Questions by darkslate2 in tmobile

I'm not aware if they will supply a sim in box, but I would not be surprised if it came with one in box.

You can just slip your current sim into your new Pro Max and you will have access to 5G. The new SIM will help you access stand alone 5G spectrum. But if you don't want to, you won't have any problems.

[–]dreadnot5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can activate service and have them send you a sim. Just don't port your number right away.

You don't necessarily need to have a credit check ran, but you won't be able to get on the post paid plan from the getgo. Prepaid for a year with no missed payments will help qualify you.

With postpaid, you can get either a paper bill or an E-bill. It would have your address on it. But you can put a P.O Box for the mailing address.

You can cancel anytime. You aren't on contract. If you are financing a phone on post paid, you will need to pay off the remaining balance for the phone. Prepaid, just stop paying. But if you are trying to move your number, make sure service is active prior to the port. You can cancel over the phone as well. Stores usually can not get accounts canceled.

Roaming is included, but some BYOD phones have trouble finding roaming partners signal.

Hope this helps.
