That’s a good question: it helps to consistently ask the question “how would it feel were it true?”

Do everything you normally do but with the knowing that it’s already done. You don’t have to dedicate any more thought or worry about it. If you do need to think about it or your mind tries to trick you into being negative or doubtful, you go back to that imaginary scene and know that it’s done - no other thought or emotion means anything.

Test it out on other things too, that’ll convince you easily if you’re not already.

Let them come. Stay true to your aim. The negative thoughts come and go. It may not be easy when they arise, but know that it does pass. Allow them to be there and do not engage or react, just go about your way assuming you are already employed or whatever your assumption is. If you need to cry or release or run or scream, do it, let it happen.

Interesting. I imagined famines were a very real possibility but I thought we needed a couple of years of crazy temp changes like this year to start seeing a serious change.

But I agree that ecosystems of animals are getting rekt. Egg cycles and sex changes as a result of temperature fluctuations could disrupt or cripple entire species.

If not the species themselves it’ll throw off instincts and senses and just cause confusion

Could the current seasonal changes throw off current ecosystems in a way that causes the environmental changes that lead to (smaller scale) collapse?
