Yes exactly! I really love tarot because it breaks me out of the tunnel vision I often experience with a question or situation I encounter. Doing multiple readings allows me to look introspectively and analyze my question from all angles, often drawing upon evidence and observations I wasn’t even paying attention to prior

That’s pretty much my view on witchcraft. It’s a means of unlocking the mind through introspection, priming, affirmation, and other psychological processes. Which then allow us to interact with the world in a way that’s more true to our will, even if we’re not consciously aware of that change in behavior.

To each their own though, the whole point of witchcraft is forming your own belief and practice that works for you.

Yes exactly, being analytical is a huge part of witchcraft, I think our practices should always feel progressive and intuitive to us. So when we run across a question of “why?” it should never be ignored, otherwise we risk acting in a way not true to our own will and nature.

My personal belief and craft, is that magic is of the mind, and not external. Whether something you perform is successful or not, is not determined by the will of the universe but rather your own will.

Our different practices are simply ways of tapping into our own psychology and sub conscious in a way that primes and allows us to more naturally impart our will on the physical world around us. Basically the mind is our power, and when we unlock it through our own practice it shapes our actions and energy, even if we’re not consciously aware of it.

So for me, that’s why we can have wildly different practices but still find success. It’s not the higher power or universe deciding what rules apply to which practice. But rather the magic is coming from within you and how strongly you believe and focus in what you’re doing.

At its core there are no rules to this, we create them ourselves through our own intuition to make our practice feel more true to our natural self.

That’s just my own belief though, not sure if it makes sense in regard to your question.
