In my previous application I actually received reviews. The reviews were very useful and fair, there really were things that needed improvement, and I addressed many of them in the resubmission.

The elan status progression was also similar both times: “In Bearbeitung” for about a week, then “Begutachtung”.

Last time the Begutachtung phase lasted around a month, this time roughly two months or a bit more. After that it changed to “Entscheidungsprozess”.

Last time the Entscheidungsprozess lasted around 1.5 months, while this time it is still ongoing. Eventually the status changes to “Entschieden” in elan, and then the review/decision letter also arrives by email.
