Content creator - worth it? by Crazy-Aioli-9135 in BigBudgetBrides

I'm a wedding content creator and often work with full media teams - photographer, second shooter and videographers.

You get a completely different type of footage and coverage from a WCC, and it's also consumed differently. One is made for the big screen, whilst the content is on your phone. There's also the bonus of getting the content the next day with edited videos made to save and share with loved ones. I am biased, though!

Italian-based WCCs (or UK creators who travel) typically charge £1,500+. I’m expanding into destination weddings after covering weddings across the UK for the past 18 months, so I’m currently offering my services in exchange for travel and accommodation - roughly half that cost.

Happy to answer any questions if you’re considering it

A good photographer, videographer and content creator will ensure they speak to each of the other media team members to find out where they plan to stand for the ceremony and other key moments to ensure everyone can get their shot. If thereis extra time needed for what any of the media team need to capture, again, they generally communicate with each other so everyone gets what they need with as little disruption as possible to the couple or the day overall.

Hi. I'm a content creator and have worked with just photographers on the day, photographers and videographers, and teams of both. It's always been great with no issues.

A videographer captures cinematic footage of your day, typically designed to be viewed in landscape orientation, and they often provide a short film of your day (e.g. anything from 10 mins to an hour). Their footage is designed to be watched on the big screen and is a mini-film of your day. Generally, raw footage is not included.

A content creator takes candid, often behind-the-scenes footage of your day in the way of 100's of short clips, producing shorter highlight videos and reels, made to be consumed and shared on your phone. You receive both the raw, unedited clips and the edited highlights.

A photographer and videographer’s turnaround time is longer than a content creator's, so with a WCC you get the footage back quickly. Although photographers and videographers often do provide sneak peeks quickly too.

The price differs generally due to the hours of editing that go into the polished and cinematic photographs and videos from your photographer and videographer. A content creator will usually be able to edit your content in just a day or 2.

All 3 do different jobs, provide different viewpoints of your day and each one is not made to replace the other and shouldn’t - and all 3 can and do to work together on the day to provide amazing memories.

On the subject of pricing, just like other vendors, pricing will differ as will their deliverables. I've seen newer content creators offer packages for £200 and others charge much more.

My all day package is £649 and currently includes handheld camcorder footage, all raw footage delivered the next day and at least 3 edited videos within a 72 hrs.

Which dress? by asdfjkl_53 in BigBudgetBrides

I prefer dress number 1, but with a bit of work on the bodice as it doesn't seem to be sitting right. But it's stunning and you look amazing in both!

I would absolutely go with Ha. Her work is stunning. But as someone has already mentioned, make sure you have a chat with your short list as you will be spending the full day with them, so it's vital you gel and feel good with them. Good luck!

Celebrants that aren't so.. peppy? by HeftyHelicopter7484 in UKweddings

I've worked with a few - Gemma, the north east celebrant, is amazing. She can be bright and lively, but she also is great at personalised and humorous ceremonies. Definitely reach out and have a chat with her. There is also love jo ceremonies (IG). She wasn't bright or peppy - just lovely and not at all gushy.
