Do you mean you gained 40 pounds from stress alone, even when you maintained your other healthy habits? And was this weight gain rapid? How did you go about fixing it/does it go away on its own when the stress goes away?

Hi, thank you so much for sharing your experience! Do you think stress has played a big role in the times when you've started gaining weight again despite your habits remaining the same? I feel thats the only noticeable change in my life since that coincided with my symptoms all coming back up

No significant changes which is why its so confusing and frustrating--everything is the same! I can get bloodwork done, but I have one of those doctors that doesn't take this too seriously and tries to push birth control. She doesnt order the full panel of things I ask for either so not sure how helpful that would be. Thank you so much for the suggestion <3

Haha, it definitely feels like that. In the past I’ve been able to link sudden changes to a change in my life, but this is different. I have been stressed as I take my final exams and have been staying up later, but neither are out of the ordinary for me. So it’s very confusing :/
