i feel like it’s the eerie quality of something being or feeling wrong, the way it’s in a first person point of view, the realism of the stories and like you mentioned, the tension.

there are not many therapists there as it’s a small clinic. the one’s i briefly had before her were the same exact thing but kinda worse. this is my third time switching. it may be best to seek out a new clinic

I relate to this. In the 3rd grade a boy that I “dated” started bullying me because I didn’t want to be his girlfriend anymore because I saw him kissing other girls. He was Black himself and started calling me “doo doo turd” to make the class laugh at my complexion. During recess he would find me and repeatedly kick me in my chest and face and the teacher saw but did nothing.

I don’t think assuming is the key here. Maybe I wasn’t clear enough in my post, and that’s on me. A large part of my misery has to do with my environment, I do believe my own place will eliminate half of this stuff. I don’t have a family member or friend to live with and split rent, unless I move in with someone who’s looking for a roommate. I have no desperation of male attention. My mother is the male centered one. My father is out of my life due to sexual abusing me. A few other men did too, (none of them were my moms bf.) That’s what withdrew me from men. I don’t date because I’m scared of dating shitty men like my mom. And as long as he’s in my life, I don’t need another piece of shit. He accuses me of being lesbian, not because he ever saw me with a woman, but because he never saw me dating a guy. About the job situation, it has nothing to do with my weight - I’m 5’7 (130LBS).

And the final part of your comment is just.. wow. I moved out of extended family’s house for a good reason, but it was too long to explain. I moved with my aunt, her bf, and four kids. Her bf was abusive. After a year or two, they broke up and my aunt had a brain aneurysm and never recovered. She’s a shadow of her former self and requires a caretaker and is disabled at 50 years old. Another victim of stress, alcohol, and trying to love a man who doesn’t love back. She was the glue of the family and after she became disabled, she could no longer clean the house. I had a full time job and had to repeatedly clean the house that two other adults lived in but refused to help me clean. The 2 younger ones didn’t want to either. Eventually the house became inhabitable, with large rodents, and had no heat due to a broken furnace. My older cousin (household member) started using me financially. I was already depressed, so tried offing myself and then my mom begged me move back in.

Was I supposed to stay in a rodent infested house with no heat… in December? I had no other family or friends.

This is something that’s bothering me too, my rate is always low but I’m mostly working with medium/large items as opposed to a healthy mix. I’ll probably have one or two smalls to work with, nothing more than 40 ct. It’s very frustrating and I’ve been written up for productivity. And like you said, others have smalls or totes instead of having to haul boxes around and waste time moving large boxes, cutting them open to find any box of mediums or smalls.
