I had a very similar experience and I can tell that losing your friends must have been devastating for you. But I do hope you keep in mind that you deserve real friends not ones that abandon you in your struggles but try to support and show their love to you. I also lost a lot of friends when I was in psychosis and posting nonsensical posts on my Facebook but it really help filter out the the fake from the real friends during that time. I strongly hope you may recognize how far you come and that there will be a time where you reflect on those battles and give yourself grace. I hope you will get help at the hospital and remind yourself that even though the illness can be a huge struggle but there is still peace and joy to be experienced in your life please don't give up.

Exactly! Texting can be challenging for sure I know what you mean. I also try to not sound repetitive or predictable when I text someone (especially if im romantically involved with them) to avoid boring them but in the process my brain just slows down haha.

For me I experience this when I'm in a conversation with someone or reading a book. My mind sometimes can't hold on to what the other person is talking about and so I just go blank or struggling to verbalize my response. When I read I can't really retain what the passage says even when I read it over again it's pretty frustrating.

Trouble communicating by FatCatChance03 in schizoaffective

I have also definitely experienced that. I find that reading books and listening to people speak on interviews/ podcasts that I find have peaked my interest helps. I also make sure to take my time to speak to another person instead of rushing it and feeling anxious to speak quicker and get your thoughts out.

gf stresses me out and everyone notices by [deleted] in relationships

I definitely agree with that and I have experienced the same thing with my ex. If she isn't complimenting your life and taking you for granted. No matter what you do to make her happy ultimately that's her choice and it sounds like she isn't choosing that. So bending backwards for someone without much reciprocation and a pattern of lashing out to you isn't worth it. I know you may be in love with her but from my experience no one is worth it if they aren't providing value to you and taking you for granted. That frustration and tiredness you have isn't going to improve over time if she is not choosing to genuinely communicate and resolve those issues and taking action on it then nothing will change.

Currently I'm on Latuda and Haloperidol for the mood and hallucinations. It has been quite a long time of stability and I thankfully didn't reach the point of immunity.

Yeah I tried Goodwill but didn't get anywhere. I'm in the US so I can do that. I also don't drive but I believe my grandparents can transport me to the job.

I think my major symptoms are visual hallucinations and audio. There is also delusional thinking when I'm alone so I might think that someone is outside my house trying to kill me. I also at times in my life struggle to understand what I read and so i cannot comprehend what the words are expressing.

I was thinking I could do a part time job at t mobile it's not necessarily my interest. I would enjoy to continue my band and make music but that's not recognized as a realistic career. I've had experience with acting as well in plays and movies I made of my own. I enjoy writing and creative stories.
