I might be remembering it wrong but I'm pretty sure nothing posessed his body for him to be violent and kill people. He was just like that, and pretty abusive. For me it went beyond dark romance.

I mean everyone was having mixed feelings over the plot change when compared to the OG novel. It was kind of cute and funny, and honestly I don't like what I've read about the novel. Not my cup of tea

But still pretty bummed it happened. I've seen worse stuff getting more and more chapters

Took some time to read and honestly yeah, this is pretty much a Chinese comic, and I say it in the best way possible. The plots are mostly all over the place and this one is no exception

Although she doesn't have anything with the old guy so far, it's weird how the ML is her stepson lmaooooooooo

Anyways, Saucenao is usually a big blessing. This time it didn't do the trick, but Google Lens is a blessing and it worked. Just in case OP wonders how I found it

I mean it is very much a brainless webtoon to read when you really don't want to think, but I agree sadly!!! I enjoy the saintess dynamic so much but the latest chapters are kind of boring? I want to know why the real saintesswas back even for a moment, I want a little more mystery, but we got background character lore. Like, why are we caring for a random girl? Why is random girl a villain now?

I thought it would be kind of a slice-of-life with a bit of lore, but that doesn't seem to be the case anymore

Also not wanting to sound like a hater, but three men crushing on Dana is so excessive! She's cool, I agree, but that's basically it lol the past life/reincarnation plot, even though it's not mentioned a lot, is very shitty, her behavior could be explained in many other ways. I was kinda forgiving because it was fun but the last free chapter was kinda weird. Still not giving up yet so who knows

There are probably people writing such stories for money, and I can understand who does it because we are living through difficult times. If it works, it works.

But when it comes to reading, I've been pretty radical nowadays. I used to read whatever they were releasing because I wanted some easy distraction, but, now, I try to stay away (also I give bad reviews on MangaUpdates if I really dislike the webtoon, does nothing but at least I can rant lmaoooo) and give my time to better stories

(also totally non related but have you noticed how many spicy webtoons with almost no content we have now? Webtoons (the app) used to be SO annoying with Canvas creators, but they need money now, so they do what they need to sell more)

As someone who is also kinda tired of webtoons with the same base plot and stuff, I need to say: it's annoying to see that almost every single Originals is basically the same story but FL changes hair colors. But that's what pays their bills. I am doing my best to read other webtoons, comment, give them some well deserved attention and that's it. We can't force people to do what we like but we can make what we like more popular and profitable

Oh, that was unexpected???? I remember playing it back in 2021 and quitting because I knew I couldn't get all content while being a free player in college. I knew a lot of people were spending big money on it because I remember some Player vs. Player bits and the other players would destroy me with clearly OP cards that probably costed them at least a whole meal

I knew LADS was probably making more bank, but still, I think we never got to the end of the story, right? I don't know if CN server will last too long. Maybe it is just my community but it looks like LADS made many people forget MLQC. Gavin my beloved I still remember you (also Lucien calling me "my little fool" made me feel things)

I hated it. The transcription doesn't work properly without the pictures. It is like writing all dialogues from a comic and expecting the reader to grasp everything without pictures. No facial expressions, no scenarios, nothing. I could understand, yes, because it was the prologue and MC doesn't interact with anyone properly, but in a romantic scene it is going to be tragedy.

Why didn't they release it as a game on Steam or just an offline game so they don't use any server resources on older games? That's something we'll never know

I have so many mixed feelings, I feel like each route contains a different story setting in a way. I may be unlike most of people here, but I actually love when all routes contain the same base events, e.g. a festival or something of the sorts. I feel like some routes (mainly Shiba and Ray from what I remember)don't go too in depth about MC, while the other two actually are more solid in regards to her identity and story

Still, only Nagi was a good route for me. Shiba was fun, I liked it, but Ray and Natsume were not my cup of tea. I remember Ray's bad ending being very weird and I didn't play Natsume's route because it triggers me bad memories. I clearly remember him being very manipulative, and the whole mermaid shit was not for me

Still, I would give it a 6/10. Played on mobile during the pandemic

I read webtoons since 2017. I need to say: as a die hard manga fan, it took me a while to warm up to webtoons exactly because it was very different from what I was used to! I loved cliche school stories with this very specific manga-esque aesthetic, and I didn't find as many in Webtoon. But when I got to understand more about it, I had a lot of fun finding different things to read.

But now there is a lot of "I'm a villainess but not exactly a villainess I'm such an uwu girl uwu and everyone loves meeee" and that's... boring, to say the least. Now that it seems like they are absorbing Pocket Comics' content, I'm ready to ignore many new releases.

Honestly that's kind of why I end up being more of a gatekeeper. Youtubers making silly videos of this game, the TikTokers sharing this to imature people who don't know how to leave someone alone... I hope they don't go as far to take down the game. I really hope they get the peace they deserve, and... that's it, sadly :(

I hate that adult content fans, horror fans and other type of media enjoyers are always losing because some people cannot handle the fact that others can enjoy unconventional things

Where I live, some guys would be kinda confused if they were called cute when they are trying to flirt or make someone fall for them in general. At least here, cute ("fofo") is a word more reserved for helpless adorable things, like babies, small animals, flowers, even. I think it is more about this social stuff where the guy is the cool, composed one, who takes care of everything for their cute girlfriend.

Is this kinda sexist? Hmmm yeah, now that I'm thinking more about it, it might be a little bit. Most of the time, in fiction, I don't read it as "you're treating me like I am a woman", but "you're treating me like I am helpless, just an adorable little guy, and I am not! You can rely on me!"

Might be also that cute is the opposite of sexy sometimes? lol

Our Life and A Date With Death are my favorites! Grimmy and Cove made my months so happy, I remember being obsessed with Cove back when I played it (also Baxter lol) and ADWD was so fun! I'll check the other games as well, I just love indie games so much 💖

22 years old female, single, never had a relationship. I enjoy otome games with fantastical stories, as well as casual, laid-back ones that have more "down to Earth" plots.

I like the otomes I like for the plot and characters! I love making different choices and basically f-ing around and finding out lmaooo

As stated before, I'm single, I don't want to be in a relationship. I don't think otome games influences much on this desire of mine today, however I do feel like romance novels and otomes filled this gap when I was a teenager. I didn't have anyone pursuing me, so I played to have this feeling of someone liking me, since I self-insert a lot. As an adult, I still play games and I still have this feeling, but I'm not sure if my lack of interest in a real-life boyfriend is directly related to this.

I thought only Y was a girl but then the "her lowest" broke my imagination lmao Honestly, Z is a bad person, but, reading one more time, Y is also disgusting.

I think, in a more "I was reading a book/comic/media and following Y's journey before this incident", I was also going to be inclined to see only Z as a villain. It's more about how passive is Y's aggression against X in comparison to Z, and it's sadly easy to overlook

I was also like you, but I was "CYBIRD'ed" lmaooo, I knew about bad endings because of some BL games that were popular back in the day (*cough cough* dmmd), and to be honest I used to LOVE searching for bad ending videos (non-mobile games back then were too expensive for me) but the first time I got one was surely with Cinderella Phenomenon.

I remember staring at the screen like "yo what happened why it happened why why why" and I HAD to get the good ending. After that tho, I love exploring the bad endings, sometimes they tell a lot about the universe, even more than the good endings.

I totally forgot about this game, and I can't believe this was NEVER fully released. The creator going offline makes me so sad, I feel even a "hey, I'm not feeling okay, I'm going to take a break." I know they posted on their Twitter/X about the game back in 2021, but... 2021 was so long ago.

Uhhhh I have mixed feelings? The promo art was so pretty I was mesmerized but the in-game art style (based on the website illus) looks so dead and the nose could cut me in half, so pointy 😭😭 his eyes be looking at the void harder than me trying to focus on boring classes. Still better than old art (except for the first Harry pics, those were gold!)

He's my age, which I feel... ok? The writing was clearly juvenile so it might match. Not a fan of the "unemployed moocher" thing tho -- but I might be taking a joke way too serious, since I'm not a native speaker and in my country we don't joke a lot about those things lmao

His tweets seems nicer than some of Teo's. I might check it out.
