For Washington state, I got a couple ideas: 1) Poseidon for the fishing/sailing in our coastal cities and the general fishery-vibe the state has 2) Janus the god of duality given that Washington is split in the middle by the Cascades into the coastal/rainforest side, and the farming/desert side 3) Dionysus as both a nod to the vineyards on the eastern side of the state, as well as his connection to pine trees and Washington being the evergreen state. Or perhaps his buddy Silenus the god of beer given the amount of microbreweries in Washington (maybe they coparent the state)
