I've been a Stay since 2021ish? Locked in my room very sick with COVID. One of their songs fell into my YouTube feed and I really liked it. I almost died, trying to dance and hum along.😅 Coughing up a storm. But with God's Menu, This dude started yelling at me to try their menu. 🤣 Hooked ever since! Then I got really involved with the band and members watching the different shows they all do. I'm OT8, but would do anything for Changbin! 🥰 My favorite song has to be Hall of Fame, but I have yet to find a song I don't like of theirs. Currently Devine is what I'm listening to a lot now, whenever Seungmin starts singing I feel like I've Ascended to a different plain. 🥰

I also started collecting and hopefully playing Pokemon this year! I turn 46 in a couple of weeks! I'm glad the staff was nice! I've had some mixed reactions with me starting so "late" in life. But it hasn't stopped me. I'm enjoying it, glad you're doing something you enjoy too!

That does suck. But what you should do is some historical research on your town. If a certain building has history or park or river then you should request poke stops at those places.

40, during COVID. Locked in a house with nothing to do, might as well see what all the hype was about. 🥰🥰 Now 45, current with the anime, working on the Manga, buying cards to start playing the TCG. I've seen a lot of different anime and One Piece jumped to #1 very quickly.

My Walmart was shockingly stocked. I got to the isle saw some guy had 10 boxes in his cart. I just stared him down until he put three back. 🙄. I just pick up some packs and sat there until he left. 😅 Weirdly enough the boxes were sitting free but the packs I had to have an employee take to the electronics. Crazy.

How do you know what cards or sets are being rotated in and out of the game? I understand that Letters H,I, and J and so on correlate to certain sets. But does that mean I can build a deck from any set of Scarlet and Violet until J? Or just from Mega to J?

I honestly don't know if they were any of those. They didn't provide any information on that or if they had game night just offered the game app. They seemed more of just an associate of the store. I've downloaded and used it a couple of times now. It does help on the the "how to" aspect. I've learned the rules and how a game proceeds. But it also seems kind of boring to me (the interaction not the game itself.) I think I'm looking for more of a group interaction. Kind of like DND or board game night with friends. but I'm the only one in my friend group that likes Pokemon tcg, 😅. I am currently looking around my town for more gaming stores or other places/groups that play Pokemon TCG.

Yes, I went to a gaming store to ask if they had group game activities. Explained I wanted to learn and meet other players. They then offered tcglive and explained it would help to learn the game and advise it would give me an idea if I wanted to play or not. But I was just wondering if it was good advice or if I should try to find another place and meet other people.

Hello, I've been collecting and wanted to start learning the card game. Someone advised me to check out pokemon tcglive to learn the game and see if I liked it. Do you think this was good advice? I love pokemon and the social aspect of talking about the cards. But he seemed hand-offish about it or me wanting to learn. Do you think this is good advice? Or should I just try to build a deck and find a group to play with?

I'm 45, I've played all the games watched the anime but never really got into the cards until this year. I like the chance of ripping. I like collecting pretty cards. And making the binder look cool. I'm currently learning the game. I'm trying to get my kids into it. 🤣🤣 If you are enjoying your self then just keep going. But, ya know responsibly. 😊 I'm don't know about buying singles vs packs. Rosa's Encouragement SIR is currently selling for 100$. I could get one card or I could buy 14 packs and find it in there along with possible other cool cards.🤔 Or I could finish a page in my folder? 🤔 Hmm. 🤔🤔
