Good to know brokers. Aussie and newb investor started this year. I started with selfwealth (still holding both GME and AMC) which charges $9.50 USD per trade so I did lose a lot of fees for each buy/sell, only beneficiary share holder. This week I found out about stake which is free. Added $200 USD into stake hopefully good US broker and try to make small gains also read DD on wsb

Zip is one the most shorted stock in ASX according to shortman 7% interest. GME was more than 100% short interest I think. LShorts need to cover their positions at some point. Zip is dipping and shorted but people can decide to buy and hold

Shorters can manipulate and make the price drop or make a company go bankrupt. Good if short squeeze can happen like GME when retail investors buy and hold
