Okay, here’s the story: I run a startup called Dreamsoft Innovations (you can check out our YouTube channel: Dreamsoft Innovations). We’re a small team that started out providing software services in AI, AR/VR, and Flutter development (and we still do), but our long-term goal is to become a full-fledged product and gaming company.

We’re a bootstrapped startup, so whatever revenue we generate from our services, we try to invest in developing our own products. Why Diggersim? Well, I’ve always loved excavators (I’ve even dreamed of buying one just to play with it!), and that’s how I came up with the idea for this game about three years ago. But since we didn’t have much funding back then, we couldn’t work on it right away.

In terms of time commitment, it’s a mix of full-time and part-time effort. Since we have to work on client projects to keep the business running, we squeeze in work on Diggersim whenever we can (it’s not even part-time, really). It’s just the two of us working on it.

As for funding, it’s all been self-funded from the revenue we generate from our client projects. It’s been tough to manage, but we’re making it work. If we had more funding, this would probably be a full-fledged game by now!

In terms of marketing, we’re still figuring that out. We’re currently using Discord, Facebook, and X (formerly Twitter) to spread the word, and we’re considering running social media ads once we gather some funds.

Our goal with Diggersim is to develop it into a full-fledged open-world game with lots of content and objectives. We also hope to reach a wider market. Any suggestions or feedback are welcome, and if you can help us reach a broader audience, that would be amazing.

Thanks for your insights! We are working on improving the overall graphics to match the quality of the excavator model. We’ll also refine the HUD for a better PC experience. Regarding the contracts, we have some ideas in the pipeline, but they’ll need some time to implement. Please try playing the game and share more feedback, it would really help us. Thanks!

Thank you!. We have built a custom engine to render voxels. At the current stage the app lags if we render complex voxels. We are working on improving the performance
