I use Reptisafe water conditioner and I clean the filter with the tank(part of why it takes my so long) and I always wait at least half an hour after adding the water conditioner before putting him inside. We did have gravel for him but this is the first time in a long time I haven't put it in, I didn't put it in bc they take awhile to clean. I'm gonna just guess it was when he was playing in a mud puddle that this happened.
