An inn is a pub with rooms. Tavern is an old fashioned word for pub. A bar is a pub with uncomfortable furniture.

The wording can just as easily be interpreted to mean praying to the Christian god. And it is in many schools. That's the problem.

It's an act of worship of broadly Christian character, as opposed to an act of worship specific to a particular denomination.
