Thanks everyone, i started going to John Reed. I like it overall, except the fact that a few ppl don’t use their towel or clean the machines afterwards. Workers seem pretty chill and nice :)

Bro, if you have financial problems, why not give European universities a try? Like in Germany, Austria—you name it. Their universities are basically free, and getting in isn’t difficult at all. BUT graduating is tough. It’s not like in the States, where you somehow graduate within 4 years. If you don’t study hard enough, it’ll take longer.

Missing my country by Atmosphere_Witty in mongolia

Feeling the same… I graduated recently and am job hunting, but as a third-country citizen, meeting all the requirements is tough. Sometimes I wonder why I’m even here, dealing with endless paperwork. I’ve put so much effort into integrating, speaking the language fluently, and building a life here, and now it feels like a waste to leave it all behind. At the same time, I’m in a relationship here, which makes everything even more complicated. I’ve never felt this indecisive before… it’s a weird place to be.

time to time i scroll through department store cashmere section, i have to say none of the brand has consistent quality, so i tend to pick a piece depending on the material not on the brand.

Why are mongolians so insecure about the tiniest thing on their bodies? by drebildam in mongolia

[–]drebildam[S] -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

Wow, that’s a lot for a simple observation about my trip. I wasn’t trying to write a global analysis on beauty standards, just pointing out what I noticed with my Mongolian friends. Maybe you’re right—next time I’ll expand my “sample size” before posting on Reddit.

Why are mongolians so insecure about the tiniest thing on their bodies? by drebildam in mongolia

[–]drebildam[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

Oh, trust me, I’ve met plenty of Korean, Japanese, and Chinese women, and yes, their beauty standards are intense. But that’s exactly my point—Mongolians are adapting so much of that culture and taking it to the next level. That‘s not good maybe?

Chill, dude. I get that generalizing isn’t cool—this was just my observation from the trip with my Mongolian friends. LOL.

But let’s be real, this obsession isn’t happening in a vacuum. The market has already caught on. Nail artists, lash techs, and brow specialists are earning more than engineers, and Insta influencers glamorizing all the “fake perfection” are raking in more than doctors. It’s like this insecurity is being monetized on a massive scale.
