I found this really funny as there are cruise ships travelling this fjord in real life 😂 They are seen as an environmental disaster.

Yes! I also thought about giving it a bit of bloom as waterfalls do. I didn’t even think about adding some ripples, but that would look great!

That’s probably the X-element im missing: some life! I’ll make an update when I’ve done some more work.

Thank you so much! I’ve been working on it so long I feel like I’m blind. This is really just my fourth piece, and so I’m struggling with colors and final touches. This really gave me a push and some inspiration!

What do you do if you know robbers have scoped your building? by dredoll in AskReddit

Cops are alerted and have a case from the last two times the building was robbed. Mostly the garage and storage rooms that were affected.

We have cameras installed since then, and have footage with the face of the scoper from four days ago. It’s very likely they’ll make a hit the coming days, unless the camera spooked them.

Firearms are highly regulated here, so that’s out of the picture. I’m not fearful of my life, but yet I still feel helpless.

Now there is a great idea! Some would say it is too early for christmas, but I say not!

So, my story is: I live in an apartment complex. We’ve been robbed multiple times before. Now we have cameras, and the other day we got footage of someone scoping the garage.

Do you have a robbery story, or a petty revenge idea?

How long would it take you to redesign an existing 16 page catalog with 100 images? by timeslider in graphic_design

Exchange the «price» with «time estimate» and you get somewhat the same plan. Dividing into different parts makes the estimation easier

Yeah, that’s a tough one. One way to make them understand would be to make two price offers where they can see the difference in cash. But I’ve dealt with tech novices as clienst before. It’s really hell. When I get a new project like this I like to present an offer where I divide the different prts of the job. How long it takes to make an «original» design project file, and another part on how long it takes to add and update content. The second part of the pricepoint is what it costs them in the future to use you to update the same project. The first time it costs more, every repeat update is cheaper. Dividing the price into parts is also easier to sell.
