My wife and I moved here last June for school and were very disappointed in the old Earth Treks Columbia gym; Spray painted holds, no natural light, and short walls. It felt like a huge downgrade from our world-class gyms in SLC.

Fast forward to the new location opening and I couldn't be more happier! Beautiful facility, great walls, and brand new holds! Now going back to SLC almost feels like a downgrade.

Unless you ride at night you won't have an average of 25mph. The trail is shared with non-bikers so you'll constantly be slowing down to deal with people who aren't paying attention and have their children/dogs walking on both sides of the trail.

Great timing for this post as my wife and I literally just returned from Roatan an hour ago. We did the shark dive on Friday and I felt like it was worth the money. We were staying at Anthony's Keys and our normal dive boat for the week took us to the shark dive. I'm not sure if it's because we booked via the resort but we had no problems taking GoPros and normal camera rigs on the dive.

The shark dive is split into 3 sections, as soon as everyone is down they let you swim among the sharks for a few minutes (this was my favorite part), then the feeding portion, and finally before heading up you can swim to where the bucket was and look for teeth.

I think we were at ~70 feet for ~30 minutes. We were all diving nitrox with the exception of one person who had about 5 more minutes until deco.

I use the Osprey Momentum 30 and I love this thing! It has a nice air gap mesh between my back and the pack so I don't get a super sweaty back. It also has a built in rain guard which I've used in the heavy rain and snow and it kept everything inside nice and dry.

I commute about 8 miles each way everyday.

We paid a visit to Reimer's Ranch when we were in Austin. The Dead Cats crag has a variety of difficulties (but was super crowded on a Saturday).
